We arrived Thursday evening, all the shops were closed so no shopping first day. We took a stroll around the hotel and found our way to Princes Street. Along the way we found this cute little Chinese Restaurant so we had dinner there. Now, I have so many pictures that I want to share with you, so bear with me.
FRIDAY MARCH 8:
Me and my dearest boyfriend started our day at Starbucks, before we walked to Rose Street (the parallel street of Princes Street) to Jamie Oliver’s Restaurant, also known as “Jamie’s Italian”. And had a great brunch.
The view of Edinburgh castle from the shopping street.
The prices, compared to the Norwegians, were great. I had the Fritto Misto and Tomas had the Stew! It was so fresh and delicious, the best part was the fact that they had an open kitchen, you could see how the chef’s prepared your meal. The atmosphere was also very good, with 80’s music and interior in true rustic style. I recommend everyone to have a meal here, Jamie Oliver has done a great job!
After brunch we did some major shopping. We had so much to carry that no pictures were taken. And knowing me – I LOVE pictures, so we had A LOT to carry back to the hotel. After a little breather, we went on a double dead tour, Ghost walk in other words. That was super exciting, learning about Edinburgh’s haunted places and supernatural places.
OH! AND WHAT WAS I WEARING?
…pretty much the same as when I arrived…boring huh?
After the double dead tour we had reservation at “The Witchery”…which I’m gonna tell you all about tomorrow.
