When I wrote “one piece” I did not mean the whole body suits made famous by the Norwegian brand. What I wanted to show you was one of the first assignment that I had in pattern making (modèlisme). Our task was to create a garment without cutting or sewing in the fabric. We could only use pins hold it together, and use whatever technique we wanted to, most well known technique is draping the fabric.
So I made this dress. Where I folded the top and curled the bottom and used pins at different points to hold it up and to get that wrinkly effect.
in the back I gathered the last fabric and made an S-silhouette.
OH EM GEEEE CHRIS!! That dress is super beautiful! My jaw literally dropped! You did an amazing job, hope I can wear one of your designs in the future 😉 Love ya and enjoy your weekend! xo
Sorry for late reply Viv, I will definitely make one for you one day ❤
Oooooooowh! Nice. Vilj ha den i dyp lilla 😉
Dyp lilla hadde nok vært veldig fint MK 😉
